Project Name: Aqualectra – Santa Barbara Desalination Plant
Plant Size: 25,000 m³/d (6.6 MGD)

Project Scope: The Santa Barbara seawater desalination plant located in the south-eastern part of Curacao provides drinking water to about half of the population of this Caribbean island. Built and commissioned in 2005, the plant originally consisted of three double-pass trains with the total capacity of 18,000 m³/day. In 2012 the plant went through the expansion by addition of the fourth single-pass train to increase water production to 25,000 m³/day. Use of TFN membranes in a hybrid configuration significantly increased the system flux and lower capital without compromising the product quality and the performance stability over time.
Project Name: CuisinArt Golf Resort and Spa Desalination Plant
Plant Size: 5,100 m³/d (1.35 MGD)
Project Scope: CuisinArt Resort and Spa is a five-star resort hotel in Rendezvous Beach, Anguilla. The resort is inspired by the Greek island of Mykonos. A premier Golf Resort and Hotel in the Caribbean. The resort also contains a notable hydroponic farm which is said to offer an opportunity for excellent practical training for students completing their degree or technical diploma program. It contains greenhouses covering some 18,000 square feet. The resort also produces its own potable water supply through their own desalination process. LG Chem NanoH2OTM membranes delivered excellent quality water at low energy costs at one of the premier Golf Resort and Hotel in the Caribbean.
Project Name: Saint George’s University Desalination Plant Seawater RO Plant

Plant Size: 1,465 m³/d (390,000 GPD)
Location: West Indies, Grenada
Project Scope: Saint George’s University, a renowned university in the Caribbean for its School of Medicine and Veterinary, owns and operate their desalination plant. Currently producing 250,000+ GPD of potable water, and supplying the potable water needs of the entire University. In early 2016, one of the four RO Trains were replaced with LG NanoH2O TFN membranes, improved water quality and feed pressures were observed, by late 2016 all four trains were converted to LGN’s SW membranes. Additional capacity (135,000 GPD) were added in 2017. LG Chem NanoH2OTM membranes delivering improved wter quality and operating costs.
